I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
